Farm Hand, Medium Farm

Piccino is looking for help on our small farm/large production garden, located on the south side of the Russian River just outside of Healdsburg, CA. Growing edible flowers, greens and other vegetables, various fruit and herbs. May add chickens if we can get enough staff.

  • Full time from April- October and Part time/ flexible schedule from Nov-March.

  • $20/hr

Duties:

  • Harvest, clean and pack 2 days/wk

  • Drive deliveries to restaurants in the Bay Area (need a driver’s license and comfortable with driving around SF)

  • Greenhouse propagation, from seed and cuttings

  • Bed prep by hand and by machine (walk behind tractor)

  • Weeding, transplanting, direct sowing, irrigation troubleshooting

  • Building trellises with, cutting down, and removing bamboo (there is a large stand on this property that requires a lot of abatement)
